Boortz & Co. prepares each order fresh and with care. Because our menus are seasonal and sourced around each order, we recommend placing your order as early as possible.
For boards, boxed provisions, and smaller catering orders, we recommend ordering at least 3 to 5 days in advance.
For grazing tables, weddings, private events, and larger orders, we recommend inquiring at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance when possible.
Last-minute orders may be available depending on our schedule and ingredient availability.
Payment is required to confirm your order or event date.
For larger events, a deposit may be required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due before the event.
Your payment schedule will be outlined in your proposal or invoice.
Orders and event bookings are not confirmed until payment or deposit has been received.
Because each order is thoughtfully prepared, sourced, and scheduled in advance, all purchases are non-refundable.
If something comes up, please let us know at least 48 hours before your scheduled order time. With proper notice, we’re happy to issue a credit that can be applied toward a future Boortz & Co. order.
Orders cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup, delivery, or event time are not eligible for credit or rescheduling.
For larger events, cancellation terms may vary depending on the event size, sourcing, staffing, and preparation already completed. These details will be included in your event proposal.

Please provide clear delivery instructions at checkout, including gate codes, parking notes, venue access details, or anything else we should know before arrival.
Someone must be available to accept the delivery. Our boards, boxes, and prepared items are made with fresh ingredients and must be refrigerated or served promptly, so we are unable to leave orders unattended.
Our delivery window is 30 minutes before or after your requested delivery time. If our schedule shifts, we’ll contact you directly to confirm timing and make sure someone is available to receive the order.
If your schedule changes, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Boortz & Co. uses fresh, perishable ingredients that should be enjoyed promptly.
Boards, boxes, sandwiches, salads, and grazing items should be refrigerated until served and should not be left out for extended periods of time.
Once your order has been delivered, picked up, or set up, the client is responsible for proper storage, serving conditions, and food safety.
We are happy to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions whenever possible, including vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, and other common requests.
Please include all allergies and dietary needs when placing your order or submitting your event inquiry.
While we do our best to accommodate, our food is prepared in a shared kitchen environment. We cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from cross-contact with allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, or other ingredients.

If a specific ingredient is unavailable, we reserve the right to make a thoughtful substitution of equal or greater quality.

Travel outside our immediate service area may be available depending on the date, location, and event scope.
Travel fees are quoted individually based on distance, setup needs, staffing, and timing.
